Firefox consitently crashes on exit. Takes several minutes to open next time.
Running Firefox 103.0.2 (64 bit) over windows 10 on a Dell Latitude E5440.
At the end of the day, I close Firefox. It takes several minutes for the 8 or so processes that linger in the system to exit. 2 minutes after that, I get the Firefox Crashed pop-up. I always send the crash report.
On restart, Firefox takes 3-5 minutes to load data from contile-images.services.mozilla.com before I can actually use the browser.
This happens daily, whether Firefox is the first or last application closed, or whether I wait several minutes after everything else is closed before I close Firefox.
Are there settings I can change to prevent this?
Thanks,

Do you have Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed checked on in Settings?
Hi
I have contacted our developers who have confirmed that an update is being sent out now that should resolve this issue. If you are unable to open Firefox to update, you can install a new version over the top of your existing copy from https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/developer/
Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear any data because if Firefox fails to complete all tasks it tries again on the start ?
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history":
[X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" -> Settings
