When using my NVDA screen reader, it seems to be impossible to reorder Bookmarks with the keyboard. Any work around or plans to fix this in the future?

NVDA site: http://www.nvaccess.org/

Thanks.

To open the Bookmarks Manager, press the Alt or F10 key bring up the tool bar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.

At the far left is the directory 'tree.' Right-click on the branch you want to work on, then select Sort By Name.

Hello,

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, clicking this did not accomplish my goal. What I would like to see in the right click menu for a Bookmark is the options to either "Move Up" or "Move Down". Without these options, you must use your mouse to place and reorder the Bookmarks which is not possible or accessible to blind users.

Does this make more sense?

Thanks.

Ahh, that I understand. I don't know if that is available anywhere.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

This is probably a good site to be aware of http://www.accessfirefox.org/Firefox_Accessibility_Extensions.php It is a semi-official Mozilla community run site. IIRC the site and many of its add-ons were caught out by Australis. That is probably one site we should reach out to in advance if for instance making anything less distinct smaller, or lower contrast.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I have seen this site and there is lots of great stuff there, just nothing to help me with my posted issue. Is there anywhere this can be recommended to be added to core? I think it is really bizarre that an awesome browser like this does not give the blind the ability to reorder Bookmarks without using the mouse. Pretty sad really, I suppose I'll have to invite my friend over each time I want to make things easier to access.

So far Firefox is the most accessible browser around, it just lacks this one simple feature.

Thanks.
