Unwanted firefox search bar on main computer desktop
After installing Firefox I have a search bar on my main desktop that I cannot remove even after a complete uninstall of Firefox, I realise I may have installed this initially by accident but, would like a method to remove it.

Thanks for the speedy reply, it turned out to be malware disguised as a Firefox search bar and was removed by anti-virus scan thanks again though.

Firefox searches are only in Firefox window. Is there any logo or words on that bar?
