UK Dictionary Chages to US When Accessing Yahoo UK
I have configured FF to the UK dictionary and removed the US one. When I am writing comments in Yahoo UK, (via FF) my spelling is being checked with an American dictionary.
How can this be, and is it a fault with FF or Yahoo ??

How to Install and Use another Language in the Dictionary on Thunderbird and you can add the preference by making the installed UK dictionary the top of the list.
guigs2 ---- I have already stated that I have installed the UK dictionary and uninstalled the US one. I only have one dictionary, so it is always at the top.
IanGreen, Of course , there is a feature in the about:config page, "spellchecker.dictionary" make sure this is set to en_UK
and it may be one more, have you tried this: layout.spellcheckDefualt set to different, try each of these: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Layout.spellcheckDefault
Do you have the Languages menu in the right-click context menu of that text area or is Yahoo using its own spell checker?
cor -el If YahooUK is using its own spell-checker, then surely that should be UK English too ??
