Launchy no longer launches bookmarks
Long ago I installed Launchy. It's default cataloging settings encompassed the location of my Firefox bookmarks and allowed me to use Launchy to launch my bookmarks. It always worked, even when Firefox updated. I only had one Firefox profile, the "default" profile.
That profile eventually developed problems so I created a new one. But Launchy was still indexing the bookmarks from my old profile only. When I would add a new bookmark Launchy couldn't find it. That's OK, since I still basically visit the same places. But over time of course, my new set of bookmarks will deviate more and more from my old set. I've tried to point Launchy to where my new profile bookmarks are but I'm either screwing it up or it's not reading them.
I deleted the old profile thinking the two profile situation was confusing Launchy somehow. Of course what I feared might happen did happen - it still not opening the new profile (now the only profile) bookmarks and the old ones are gone.
How do I get Launchy to find my bookmarks now? As I said, the "out-of-the-box" default Launchy settings always found my bookmarks and could launch them. (which is strange because by looking at the default Launchy indexing it just doesn't look like it would find them. But it always worked, so I just went with it). Can I put my new profile bookmarks where my original profile bookmarks were? I'm sure uninstalling and reinstalling FF would do it but that's a huge pain since I have it set up just the way I want.
I know there are probably other ways to launch bookmarks but I'm stuck on Launchy. I use FF 26.0 (don't like the latest build).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

HI OvBismarck, Thank you for your question, I understand that Launchy is not seeing the new bookmarks.
First question: what is the out of the box method? Currently the place were bookmarks are stored actively are in the places.sqlite file in the profile. It sounds like it was pointing to a stationary file or one that was not changing? Or not updating from the changing file as you mentioned. Is you issue similar to this one: http://sourceforge.net/p/launchy/disc.../92ff8232/ ? Second question: Does updating to the latest version of Firefox, version 30 also have this issue? Updating and checking that no add ons are affecting the functionality would be another cause I would check. Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
