Do not post your contacts and other personal information on public forums. If you're referring to Thunderbird, and NOT Firefox, then you can migrate your profile from the desktop to the laptop. See Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages and other user data for details.
For issues with passwords, you need to use the "forgot password" options provided by your respective email service provider to reset or change the password to something you know.
