I cannot keep Google Search has my default search engine. I reset it in the Firefox preference and each time, I get Yahoo! as the search engine. Why???? I've checked add-ons, etc. and there is no Yahoo! extension, etc. that I can find to remove.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. They all work differently - what one program doesn't pick up, the other might.
