I have installed a Fresh Copy of Firefox and it still constantly hangs when accessing sites. Especially Amazon. I tried using Opera and do not have this problem. I also tried the developer version of Firefox and it does the same thing. I have had my line checked, speed checked. Everything is perfect from IP. (very fast connection 239mbps) Running Windows 10 with all updates. I do have a lot of bookmarks, however I don't think that is the issue. When I turn the sync off, the problem persists. My other computer is doing the same thing with Firefox, (also running windows 10) Could it be something with Windows 10? Firefox at this point is very unusable. It is my favorite browser and I would like to continue to use it.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues. You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.

Flash: Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac

Then reinstall the latest version.

Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.

Thank you all for helping. Making a new profile seems to help a lot with the speed. So far so good. When I run a speed test from: http://speedtest.dslreports.com/ I always get an F grade for Bufferbloat (excess ping over idle) quality and speed are grade A. Not sure if this is also part of the problem. Time Warner Management have been out to check my lines and they can not find anything wrong.
