Problems with mobile sync
I use Thunderbird for two email accounts, only one of which I have set up on my Android phone. A couple problems with that account:
1. I cannot access sent or deleted emails prior to the day I installed Thunderbird. They're just not there. Whereas on the other account, I can access as far back as I want. There have been a couple of instances when I needed to reference an email I sent prior to my Thunderbird installation date and found that it wasn't there. 2. Emails I send or delete on my phone do not show in the folders in Thunderbird. That is, if I send an email on my phone and try to reference to it on Thunderbird later, it isn't there.
Thank you for any help!

For Thunderbird, what's your account type - POP or IMAP?
IMAP.
A couple problems with that account:
What is the account we're talking about - the one which is set up in Thunder bird and on the phone, or the one which only exists on the phone?
I cannot access sent or deleted emails prior to the day I installed Thunderbird.
Which device are we talking about - Thunderbird or the phone?
One of the email accounts, I only access via Thunderbird. The other, I access via Thunderbird and my phone. That is the one I'm talking about. I cannot access emails via Thunderbird I sent or deleted prior to the day I installed Thunderbird. But, with the other account (the Thunderbird only account), I can go back as far as I want.
What mail provider? Google at least have a setting on how far to go back on their web mail
Outlook.com on Office 365
