Firefox updates crashing my computer. Now won't start
Firefox was crashing regularly and when did work Flash would crash within it, causing issues on many sites I went to. I was offered update for Flash for Firefox and Java for Firefox (computer kept saying Java out of date though computer Java was most recent so assumed again was Firefox issue) when I did this my computer froze upon auto restart and now will not start. I am not just saying Firefox won't start but my entire computer refuses to load/start up. I do not know what to do. Computer, except Firefox and Flash when on Firefox, was working fine before this. FYI: No error messages given, and I am not on crashed computer. I need advice ASAP.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
While still in Safe Mode,
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it and select Submit.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:
- see if there are updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration
- disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

- disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

Thanks for trying but this did not work. Computer no longer will start up. If try to start in Safe Mode it either freezes or goes to Blue Screen. Been told a couple of times now it was the update that caused this but I cannot even go in to configure my computer before the update. Now I must look into a final backup and then a new computer but I worry about this happening in even a new computer. Java and Flash have always been issues but this is ridiculous. The computer is a PC not Mac.
