Firefox locks up Norton Vault - is there a fix for this?
Just installed the latest version of Norton 360 and now have a problem with the Vault. It will lock up and prevent me from listing the entries and either opening or closing the function. I click on the Vault icon and nothing happens. I can go into Norton 360 Manage Identity and open or close but still cannot see the entries in FF. If i go to IE and open the Vault then things will work in FF.

Norton utilities are usually updated to work with new Firefox Releases.
Contact Norton to check. See also their forum and thread such as
The tool bar is not the the issue for me. I have the tool bar but when I navigate and then try to display the vault the log ins will not show. It shows as OPEN but when I click on it the dialogue box does not drop down. I have to close FF and start all over. It will open if I go to IE but still won't work in FF.
Sorry I do not use the Norton software.
As I understand it the Toolbar and ID safe are additional utilities provided by Norton to their users of the paid for software. You will need to contact Norton about problems, but I would be interested to see any relevant links to Norton information. I presume the forum I provided links to is the place to both look for answers and ask questions.
It is one of those "He said - She said" type of situations. I have contacted both sides and they each point to the other. All I know is that I am stuck in the middle until one of them quietly resolves the issue. Not much I can do.
Can you specifically ask Norton if they support use of Current Release Firefox 30 with their Security Vault utility. Make sure you check what versions of their software are needed.
If you ask on their forum other Norton users should confirm or otherwise that the Security Vault works with Firefox 30.
IIRC some of the Norton software are binaries that need revising on many Firefox updates. It is their Norton software. They write it and will be able to answer your question.
Have you considered the possibility of using other software to store encrypted data even the Windows OS itself is capable of doing that
