firefox deletes downloaded file after its downloaded

the downloaded file is saved for example to desktop and after i close firefox the file is deleted and is not in trash bin

It is possible that your anti-virus software is deleting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files.
You can also try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software (temporarily) to see if that makes downloading work.
