When you right-click in a message the context menu contains a "Move-To" and a "Copy-To" option with sub-options named "Recents" and "Favorites" in each...

I want to change the number of maximum options this menus can contain...

I located on old thread (2013) in Mozillazine about this but does not work anymore...

Search in the Tools->Options dialogs but no luck

Any ideas???

This thread? The MAXRECENT parameter in current TB is in folderPane.js and folder-menupopup.js in the omni.ja\chrome\messenger\content\messenger folder. I haven't tested this method of editing the js files.

Yes... that ancient" thread...

I changed the MAXRECENT in the 2 mentioned *.js files...

Any idea where I can do the same for the "Favorites" ?

I searched for a MAXFAVORITES but no free candy ;-(

  • PS:

I think this variables are a good candidate to be in the "Tools->Options->Interface" or "Tools->Options->Folders"

I don't know where the number of Favorites is set, or if there is even a limit, but I think, by definition, a favorite should belong to a relatively small group.
