Looking for a free VPN and TOR that can be connected to Firefox for easy and safe surfing of the expanded web. If none are available free then one that is reasonably cheap.

Tor is separate browser based on Firefox. https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en It does not hook up to Firefox.

Can not recommend a VPN to you. That is your choice and depends also on what country you are in. Also do they keep logs and is based in the country you are trying to avoid ie : USA. So you would want something not based in the USA and does not have a server in the USA

Free VPN's well take your risk, If they go down/disconnect while using it you may not be aware plus they are slower.

Some suggestions from search terms best vpn 2017 (can add country to search ) http://www.techradar.com/vpn/best-vpn https://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2403388,00.asp https://www.lifewire.com/best-vpn-service-providers-4061659 https://www.cnet.com/best-vpn-services-directory/

Can do a google search for best free vpn 2017

Your Flash is out of date and a security risk Update to Flash Player Version: 27.0.0.183 https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, Win IE . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Note that a proxy or VPN can see all data you send to a web page and that includes usernames and passwords, so using such a service has nothing to do with safe surfing and is actually unsafer since you expose all your data to one server (it can add privacy though).

From Owner "You previously answered that a VPN receives all of my information including name, password, etc then why does techs recommend using VPN to mask your ISP? I just want to do safe surfing and to be able to access the total web, not just what the browser allows. "

________________________________________________________________ As mentioned yes the run a website and have to have control over it.

You look for a VPN website that says it does not keep logs and does not have servers in the country you are trying to Avoid Ie USA, UK So yea Canada, France

If no server in the USA no place to serve a warrant except another country with like minded laws.

Need to know the laws if going to be downloading torrents and such.

I have a account with Bitport.io and copy a link location and copy into there, they download it, then I use iGetter to bring the file in. Transfer is encrypted, yes my ISP knows I brought in x amount of megs/gigs but has no idea of what x was. There are other places like Bitport if search. Is in Check Republic.

I have Tor, never use it. Bitport is as good as VPN for me.

Ok, I can not go on about this as it has nothing to do with Firefox Support. So please click a helpful button and move on with the info.
