I can open the Google search page, but cannot open gmail when I click it! I can click it on the Google page, and gmail will open on Internet Explorer. What do I need to fix it?

You need to change your default browser from Internet Explorer to Firefox, as explained in the support article Make Firefox your default browser

Normally, when you are using a link inside Firefox, and the link is for an ordinary web page, the link will open in Firefox and not in a different browser. So that's strange.

What link are you using? Does this one work (assuming you click it while you're in Firefox):

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox

I use open in Yahoo in order to get into gmail, as I'm trying to that become my default email. When I clicked on the link you sent, it comes up to the Google screen to set the settings, which I've attached. However, I couldn't find a login set up for www.google.com either; it was not in the list of history either. It's telling me to lower the privacy settings, but I can't figure it out! I've even updated Firefox today also! It's probably something simple, but I can't get gmail to open. Here's what I'm sent:

The #3 on that list doesn't really apply to Firefox.

Google uses a single account for all its various services -- search, mail, documents, etc. It sounds like you have a Google account because you have used it in IE, and it's just a matter of logging in on Firefox using the same login you use in IE.
