Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).

Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.

Flash Player Version: 24.0.0.194

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Direct link scans current system and browser Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, Win IE . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

Note that these crash report are about older Firefox versions and are about plugin issues.

  • Firefox 49.0.2 Crash Report [@ F1398665248_____________________________ ] (Flash plugin)
  • Firefox 47.0.1 Crash Report [@ mozilla::plugins::AssertPluginThread ] (Java plugin)
  • Firefox 47.0.1 Crash Report [@ mozilla::plugins::AssertPluginThread ] (Java plugin)

Your Java version seems to be rather old.

  • Next Generation Java Plug-in 10.60.2 for Mozilla browsers

If you aren't using the Java plugin on any website then either uninstall Java or at least disable this plugin in Firefox. You can check for issues caused by plugins.

  • set plugins to "Ask to Activate" on the about:addons page ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Plugins)
  • plugins are not affected by Firefox Safe Mode

Try to disable multi-process tabs in Firefox to see if that makes Firefox create a new crash report. You can disable multi-process tabs in Firefox by setting the related prefs to false on the about:config page.

  • browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false
  • browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
