Facebook Says I have Malware and Can't Log on.
Ok Facebook Hit me with Malware issue. I used the Recommended scanner (ESET NOD32 Antivirus) and it did detect one threat but I had that program exe on my pc for years and I ran Malwarebytes, Spybot, Avira, and couple others and ZERO.
So I tried logging in with Opera I get the Warning too, So I tried Chrome (fine) and so is Commodo Ice dragon (fine).
I backed up Firefox stuff and REFRESHED as you always Recommend to do for everything issue. and I still get the message. I read over 20 other pages and watched Youtube videos on this and all said refresh. Well did not work. Do I need to Nuke my Folder too and start from rock bottom ?

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
- check the permissions in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
- Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).
"Clear the cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
Ok I tried all that Nothing I still get the message
I went Scorched Earth and wiped out and removed and deleted all my folders of fire fox I reloaded it from start.
There is nothing in permissions toggling the options that worked
Yes I tried safe mode two times before I refreshed FF and still got the Message. The fact I am able to log in on Chrome and Comodo Ice Dragon fine tells me they Firefox.
Why??? I tried logging in with a totally separate computer which I just loaded Firefox on and got the same message. I do not have malware and Never did they are Doing this forcing people to buy malware software.
Create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
