It happens every time when i'm on a page with flash content with the message "flash player 20.0 r has stoped working" (not sure on the exact words of the error message because i'm on a french system, but the meaning of the sentence is right). Only the flash plug in crashes, after i click close program firefox is still runing but the flash content on the page is greyed with the error message "flash plug in stopped working". I tried to reset, reinstall firefox, safe mod, disable hardware acceleration and every kind of fix suggested but it doesn't help. These crash appeared today after i installed the software & drivers for my epson printer which i just received so maybe it's linked but that's weird. The problem is that i need that printer to be installed. My OS is windows 7 64, firefox and flash plugin all up to date. Any ideas ?

You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and hardware acceleration in Firefox and try this:

I tried everything listed on these links. For the flash hardware acceleration i had to edit the mms.cfg file and add DisableHardwareAcceleration=1 I can't right click a flash box on a page to access the flash settings as it immediately crashes when i open a page with flash content. However It still doesn't help, i hope the mms cfg file trick really applies the deactivation of hardware acceleration. This is insane i had no problem till this morning and right after i installed the printer it dosen't work anymore ...
