hello Avhopper, thunderbird is only available on traditional desktop systems and not on android...

With the much more limited Thunderbird development going now there is little chance of a mobile version of Thunderbird for Android anytime soon since it has not even been worked on yet.

Frankly that is an optimistic statement compared what we've attempted to convey in the past. Mobile in general, which includes Android, isn't a platform that is envisioned ever happening because of design issues and mobile's extremely limited screen sizes. To put it another way, this has nothing to do with "limited Thunderbird development", nor available resources.
