Firefox keeps crashing. I thought it was my computer so I reinstalled the OS from scratch. It took 2 days to do all the patching. Within 30 minutes of use, Firefox started to crash again. Here are the crash reports, I've had 4 tonight within 13 minutes of turning the PC on. Please help. I never have any problems with it on my other computer and I'm running all the same plugins/extensions.

Thanks, Bill

One of the reports was a Flash crash. This is some standard guidance that addresses the most common issues:

(1) If you have any downloaders/recorders/other add-ons or external software that interact with the Flash player, make sure they are up-to-date or disable them

(2) Disable hardware graphics acceleration in Firefox and in Flash

(A) In Firefox, un-check the box here and restart:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced > General > "Use hardware acceleration when available"

(B) In Flash, see this support article from Adobe: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

(3) Disable protected mode (Win Vista - 7 - 8)

Thank you for the crash IDs. They seem to point in many different directions. Could you try running Firefox in Safe Mode? Unfortunately, extensions are disabled, but you should be able to determine within a tolerable amount of time whether it makes a difference.

Firefox's Safe Mode disables extensions, hardware graphics acceleration, the JavaScript compiler, and some custom settings. More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?

Thanks for the info. I'll try those suggestions and see how it goes.

I had tried disabling each add-on individually in the past, but it didn't seem like any one in particular was causing my problem because it would still crash even when each one was disabled one at a time.
