I am using a Windows 7 Home Premium desktop - Firefox 12. I understand that the 'although this page is encrypted....' warning is a security device - but - I have used "MyMSN' as my home page for over 10 years without a problem (I am very careful with personal information). I have tried every solution other people suggested ie clearing the cookies, option - tools etc. with no luck. It is enough of an aggravation to have to log in to hotmail to access your home page without having to then click on this warning on a daily basis. Is there any way to disable it?

Hi You can do this by going to options->advanced->encryption and certificates->select one automatically and click ok.

let me know if it works :)

Do you mean the PostToInsecureFromSecureMessage?

  • "Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party"

The "PostToInsecureFromSecureMessage" warning can't be suppressed, it is too important.

That is the warning I am talking about. I do wonder, though. if it is so important - why I have only encountered it on the 'MyMSN' website (and I surf the web a lot)??
