I have used thunderbird for many years and have installed various versions on many different windows machines. I just got a new PC running windows 11 and installed the current version of thunderbird. The local folders show up but with no content (no subfolders and no messages found). My local folder (about 45 Gb) is located on a dropbox drive so that I can read and save emails on different machines.

I wonder whether it is related to this version? I have installed thunderbird on a different machine about one year ago and it worked fine (thunderbird is currently running this way on 2 other window machines and they are all OK). If this is the case, is there a way I can find and install an earlier version of thunderbird?

Thanks for your help.

In installed an older version of thunderbird (from 2023) and the results are the same. I checked the absolute paths of the local folder of another machine and they are identical (c:\users\xxx\dropbox....), so I don't understand why the local folders are not showing up in my new machine.
