connecting another device

more options

I am on a web page that wants me to connect another device. I don't have another one besides than the desktop computer I am using. It says it's "required" to have more than one. There is nothing on that page for me to say that all available devices have been connected. If I just close that page, is it going to keep popping up and asking again every time I sign in to my account?

Hi, many people who sign up for a Firefox Account are doing so to Sync data between multiple installations of Firefox. However, that part definitely is optional. Will you see that suggestion each time you sign in to your account, or every time Firefox updates? It's possible. You can close that tab.

However, if you see that suggestion every time you start Firefox, it might have been added to your home page setting. To clean that up, check out this article: How to set the home page. Was that the problem?
