Recently, when attempting to use the up / down arrow keys to select different inbox messages, nothing happens. The selected message remains selected despite tapping away at the up / down arrow keys. I need to re-click on a message several times for the up / down arrow keys to function. But then it stops working again moments later. This is recent behavior.

I have configured: Options > General > Advanced > General scrolling to disable: - use autoscrolling - use smooth scrolling

Haven't made any changes to add-ins, which have been consistent for 6-months or longer.

Using T-Bird version 60.9.1 so as not to lose my favorite add-ins.

Thanks.

Do the F (forward) and B (back) keys work for moving through the messages? If they do, it suggests there is a hardware issue with the arrow keys. If F and B don't work, try running in safe mode (hold Shift when you launch TB).

Thanks. The 'F' key then allows me to engage the arrows, which indicates that possibly an add-on is interfering.

I appreciate your reply. Thanks again.
