Hi there, I have this come up on every site. Some background:

1. The error is always 'no issuer chain was provided' (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer) 2. My time and date and time zone are right 3. I have tried deleting the cert8 file, no change 4. I have followed the instructions from Microsoft regarding the 'Family Safety Certificate' which didn't work as it did not appear in the place the instructions directed me to. 5. I am using a brand new laptop (purchased today) and downloaded Firefox today so everything is up to date. 6. I only had McAfee security which I uninstalled to see if that was the issue, but it is still occurring.

Please help me I am at a loss, and I have to use Firefox for Uni.

Thanks

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See Creating a profile:

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem
