Wannan tattunawa ta zama daɗaɗɗiya. Yi sabuwar tambaya idan ka na bukatar taimako.

I inadvertantly turned on something so now when I click on a link, it saves it to my reading list? How do I turn this off?

I right-clicked on a link to a PDF to see if I could just do that instead of opening the doc and then downloading it. This used to be an open "Save target" or something like that. I clicked on something else that sounded like it may do the same thing, but then something flashed by about my reading list or something? Now, when I click on a link, nothing happens. Please tell me how to turn this off!! I searched the "Help" info with no success.

I don't think Firefox has a built-in reading list feature. It could be something related to that particular site, but if all sites are affected, an add-on would be a more likely culprit. Do you have an extension named Pocket that stores links for later viewing?

You can review your active extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions.

Do any of these seem related to a reading list? If so, check for an Options button to see whether you can adjust their settings to turn off any right-click functionality, or click the Disable button.

Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.

Any improvement?
