I enter a URL into the address bar, hit enter, browser starts to act like it is going to go to the request address, and then stops. The browser will not go anywhere, except google web pages, if I use the google search on the home page. Also, if I click a google link, the browser does not go to any address.

I have removed and re-installed FF and the problem persists. I have even changed my Additionally, my other browsers appear to still be working. I can provide additional network information upon request

Hehehe. I found the problem, and "No" it was not FF problem.

Hi Screwed,

I'd try starting Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. You should look at the Extensions and Themes troubleshooting guide and the Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems article as well.

Hopefully this helps!
