I am constantly being asked to update when there are known bugs in it, this does not make sense to me at all, this 9.0 will crash after a while as it has bugs you have admitted this

Another reason to update is that each new version contains security updates that are not in the previous one. So you can help to keep your computer safe by keeping Firefox (and other software like Windows) up to date.

Most software has known bugs. These are just the ones they are still working on. The update will have fixed previous bugs and even though it is know beforehand that not all of them are fixed, it will actually have fewer bugs in it.
