That is not normally a problem. It is usually possible to export from one browser and import to the other. What is the browser on the older XP is that firefox or Internet Explorer? and if firefox is it an up to date version eg 3.6 ?

You also need some way to transfer the files, standard methods may include over a wifi network, or by copying to media such as a CD or a FlashDrive.
