Dead HD on laptop. Almost all data physically lost, including TB profile. I can only re-create one email of 8.
I have been losing accounts every few months since Jan, 2021. I do not know the pwds for them and most were specialized and not important. But, the HD finally did a hard-crash & my profile & all pwds were destroyed. I am trying to install email accounts on TB on other machine, but only remember the pwd for one. The old accounts were all POP, SSL/TLS and only some were gmail. One acct I was able to salvage on the new machine I set up as IMAP/OAuth2/SSL/TLC port 993 on my new box in a newly downloaded version of TB (I recalled the pwd). This is [email protected] if you want to reach me. I also have [email protected] set up on my phone, but can't recover its pwd, so it's only good for the phone.
How can I re-create the other accounts on newly downloaded version of TB? Can I just designate them IMAP/OAuth2 and have TB recreate them complete with downloads of old missed email? Or, do I have to kill the old addresses and create them again? Is there a waiting period between killing a gmail or other address in TB and then creating a new one using the same address?

If you have the passwords, Thunderbird will make available all messages that are on the account. The accounts still exist.
