Hi I sent an email with responses to questions changed to red text. However, when it arrived, all text was back to black. - Even shows black in my sent folder, which is when I realised there was an issue.

How do I solve this?

Windows 10 21H1 TB 91.8.1 32-bit

I love TB, but this is an issue, as is not being able to send images within an email - they always disappear when email sent. I have learnt to get round this by always pasting image into a Word doc & then attaching that, but it's a bit long winded

Any suggestions gratefully received Thanks

re:Even shows black in my sent folder,

You may have composed the email using html but did you actually send it using plain text ?

Select 'Sent' folder select email to view click on 'More' and select 'View Source'

Do you see both of these content types? Content-Type: text/plain; Content-Type: text/html;

Close any 'Write' windows that are currently open and then check your 'Send Options' selection.

  • Menu app icon > Preferences > Composition
  • click on 'Send Options' button
  • Select 'Send the message in both plain text and HTML'
  • click on OK
