I no longer need a reset, but the reset screen continues to display. How do I turn it off for more than at startup?

One day I typed a character (no idea which) slip of the finger when I was attempting to type my master password. My master password changed to this unidentified character and It stuck. I didn't know what I had typed, and could not use my original master password.

I could get nothing else to work, so I requested a reset, knowing I would loose bookmarks and passwords. I don't know what happened after I began the reset, but I thought it was done, and I had not lost anything. My old password worked again, so I counted myself as lucky.

Now I find that everytime I open FireFox that the reset screen pops up, insisting I do a reset and loose it all. I no longer need or want a reset, but other than closing the tab, I can not turn off the reset option permanently.
