I have 2 different contact databases that I regularly use. First there are my Gmail contacts which I have built up by using my Android phone and secondly there are my Outlook/Hotmail contacts which I have built up over the years by using email. I want to be able to access both of them to address outgoing emails in Thunderbird, and ensure they are both able to sync. I have already managed to get my Outlook/Hotmail contacts to sync in Thunderbird using the TzPuch add-on but I can't see how to get the Gmail contacts to do the same. How do I set up multiple syncing address books in Thunderbird so I can choose contacts from any source?

Install this add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/gcontactsync/

Make sure to read the FAQ.

You won't be able to (and you shouldn't attempt to) sync the Hotmail contacts with the Gmail Contacts.
