Firefox is often not responding. This creates long delays and much frustration. then these messages requesting donations comes up whenever I log on. Are you sending the requests for funds? Are they legitimate requests? See example" "Mozilla, the maker of Firefox, is a non-profit, and we rely on your donations for support. If everyone reading this chipped in $3, we would be supported for another year. Donate now."

Please let me know that you are not planning to keep this up. Looks like underhanded attempt to hold users hostage. Thank you, Helen Simonaitis [email protected]

Hi

What you are seeing is the annual fundraising campaign for the Mozilla Foundation. You can read more about the work of the Foundation here.

The campaign is not on going and normally comes to a conclusion sometime before the end of the year.
