When I check my Plugin Status in Firefox ESR 38.4.0 on my Mac 10.6.8 , It says that WebEx64 General Plugin Container (v. 1.0)WebEx64 General Plugin Container Version 205 is Unknown. But why is it unknown since I think it was installed by Firefox?

But is this the same as OpenH264 codec which I also have. Do I need both?

If not how do I delete the one I don't want?

Thanks for all and any help.

The OpenH264 is installed by Firefox, the WebEx64 is not. It is on system and Firefox is making use of it among other Plugins on your system

Type about:plugins in Location (address) bar to see what Plugins you have and where they are located on system.

You Plugins list image does not seem to load.

Hi James, thanks for your help, it helps towards answering my query, but brings up more questions and what seems to be a problem with Firefox Addons Manager when it checks plugin status.

When I go Firefox > Tools > Addons > it brings up a different page headed Add-ons Manager. If I click Plugins on the left and then on "Check to see if your plugins are up to date", It bring up a page headed: Keep your Firefox heathy with a quick checkup - Mozilla.

This page lists WebEx64 under Unknown Plugins. But since it's NOT unknown, then this needs updating, and it also needs to report on its status...

Lastly, am I right in understanding from your response that I do need WebEx64 as well as OpenH264?

I appreciate your continued help. warm regards, Cris
