From my laptop I am trying to sync my new desktop. I have my KEY, which I had copied, into the documents, but every time I try to use it, I get a statement that it is incorrect and I should go to the my new desktop and get the KEY. How can my new desktop have a KEY when it is not even part of the sync yet? When I did look for it there was not place that I could see that would provide a new KEY number. Both my laptop and new desktop are running Windows 8. My laptop is touch screen, but my desktop is still mouse run. Thanks for any help you can provide, Don

Hi 1Donald,

To answer your question, "How can my new desktop have a KEY when it is not even part of the sync yet?"

You need to get the key from the new device and enter it into the old device. So on the old device select "Pair a device" and the place to enter the key will show up.

I hope this helps.
