I cannot open PDF files in Firefox - I get a grey screen stating 'This plugin is vulnerable and should be updated'. I go to updates for Fixit and the link takes me to things I just do not understand. I have been using Foxit Reader and it is my default reader. I have no problem with Internet Explorer it work fine, it is just with Firefox which I much prefer apart from this problem. I changed to Fixit as my Free AVG software kept telling me there is a problem with Adobe Reader XI (11.0.01) and I got so feed up with it that I removed Adobe from my computer I have had several suggestions from Foxit support but nothing seams to work. I have reset Firefox to the default settings put again still get the same message. Please help

Hi - Thanks for that - I have just done a re-install of Fixit as you have mentioned and the problem is still the same. I should point out that I have had five suggestions from Fixit support (yours being one) that I have carried out and still the same problem. They are still trying to work it out. I have checked the internet and it appears that I am not the only one but no one seems to have the answer. Which makes me wonder if it may be a setting on computer. But then why is there no problem with IE.
