I used ad block to block an annoying ad within a PayPal email. This resulted in my entire page of email messages being blocked. I can log in to my email account but can't access my messages. How can I undo my block?

My computer is Microsoft Vista and Firefox is my browser.

Another approach -- Your custom filters are viewable/editable.

  1. Click the ABP icon, choose Filter Preferences
  2. Click Custom Filters tab, then on Exceptions line click Actions and choose Show/Hide Filters (that is an on/off selection). The pane will divide and show your Custom Filters on the right side of the pane.
  3. If you can identify the one causing problems, right-click on it and choose Delete OR click on the check box for that line in the Enabled column to un-check it which leaves it in place but the filter will not be enforced as long as it is unchecked.

Go to the problem page. Right click on the adblock icon.(if your icon is missing then right click on blank area of toolbar, click customize and drag the stop sign where you want it.) Then click on "open blockable items", this opens a list of blocked items on bottom of page. Red lines are blocked objects. Right click on a red one then click "edit in filter effect" then press the delete key to remove that filter.

Well, I'm getting farther - I got this message when I clicked on my email page. I'll try again later.

"Sorry Our vendor is experiencing technical difficulties with your email platform and is working closely with our technical leadership teams to resolve the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience and will not rest until service is fully restored. Please try again later."

I think my ad-block boo-boo is resolved.

But SuddenLink email is still having technical difficulties, so I still can't access my email. I hope this problem is now on their end and not the result of what I did.

I appreciate the support and prompt responses I received!! Thank you.
