Firefox makes extensive disk writes to your profile folder as well, since your history is stored there, along with settings, bookmarks, passwords, cookies, etc.

You can ascertain the location of your currently active profile using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > Open Containing Folder button

Assuming you can't move your entire "C:\Users" path off the SSD (does Windows allow that??), you can move your Firefox profile to a different drive using the steps in this article: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder

It would be a good idea to start by making a separate backup copy of your profile folder in case something goes wrong during that process.
