How do I delete a site from appearing in my address bar drop-down list?
I am looking for a way to delete a website from being included in the drop-down list when I type things into my address bar.
I've deleted history and cookies associated but to no avail.
I'm accessing my router; I type 192... and it brings up the link to my old router, which doesn't work. Getting annoyed at having to scroll down to get the new, real link.
Solution? Cheers.

If you want to remove data from a drop down list then use these steps:
- Highlight an entry in the drop down list
- Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks and those entries can't be removed from the location bar drop down list with the Delete key.
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.
This will open the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.

Thanks!
A blue star appears in the bar for the websites I am trying to delete. I click on the star and small window opens with a place to click to delete this bookmark. I click and nothing happens. Can you help? Thanks Nedski
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
