When I am using firebug how do I enable editing of css source code? I can use the edit menu "find" option but cannot change the code. It won't allow that.

I am not allowed to edit my css source code. I can open a css file and see all the code but when I try to change any of the text, it will not do it. I thought I could text edit to update css files. How do I do that?

If your intention is to upload the changed file(s) to the server then you need to use an external editor.
Otherwise you can look at an extension like Web Developer.
