Firefox is extremely slow. V 7.01 on Windows Vista SP2. It says (not responding) and the screen goes gray after clicking almost anything. I don't have a ton of plugins or other applications running. IE is also slow, but better. -Jeff

I've seen this on a range websites. It just stops responding. Sometimes all I can do is terminate the program. Other times it will resume running only to stop responding again.

I'm running on a wifi network through Verizon Fios. I don't have this problem on other computers.

Hi jdusing- If webpages are extremely slow to load there are two main things to do in this situation. Update and run anti-virus and malware scanner tools on your computer and try Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.

Hope that helps!
