"Mozilla Firefox" does NOT run scans and find viruses on computers.

I would be inclined to suspect that is a scam.

Firefox can warn about phishing sites etc see http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/phishing-protection/ but this is warning you about what you are trying to connect to, not about what is on your computer.

If I were to guess, you probably saw a fake animation that purportedly scanned your system for viruses and found multiple "threats." Typically, the bogus page will ask you to download fake software that needs to be brought to "cure" the threats. Do not download or pay for any software that is offered. To be on the safe safe, you might want to run a scan with trusted software such as Malwarebytes Free Version.
