Firefox crashed a few hours ago when I switched tabs, and ever since it has crashed on startup. I can't even start it in safe mode - holding the option key and clicking the Firefox icon only brings up a Finder window with Firefox highlighted in my Applications folder for some reason. When the crash happens, the Crash Report window comes up. But before the report can be submitted, it's crashed again and brings up another crash report window. It's getting really annoying. :(

Problem is solved by reinstalling Firefox 3.6.23

more options

Okay so the problem isn't quite solved. 3.6.23 opened okay, and I decided to uninstall a few add-ons. When it restarted, the whole thing started again. This is my latest crash ID: bp-e596a138-809c-492e-89ef-a31ee2111025

I can open in safe mode, but that's no good as I can't customise anything or use add-ons or installed toolbars. How can I fix this problem?

Wow, thanks so much! That sorted the problem! I just uninstalled Rapport and I've been able to run Firefox 7 with absolutely no issues. I'm so happy now, thanks!
