I deleted then downloaded FF7, same problem, I also tried reinstalling FF6, didn't help. I cannot do what you asked, too much trouble. I have been using FF for at least 10 years, I am pissed. I will now use Google Chrome. I hate IE.

Opening the Firefox SafeMode is as simple as holding the Shift key while you double-click the Firefox desktop shortcut.

Why ask for support if you're not going to follow the support advice that is offered?

Re-installing Firefox rarely fixes problems like you are having, which are normally caused by add-ons or improperly set preferences.

well now that you explained how to open in safe mode i did it, and it works fine that way, so now what? you don't have to get snippy with me, i am not a computer genious ... i went to link that you provided and could not figure it out
