Google for search bar keeps dissapearing, also the e-bay icon.
Ever since I've upgrades from version 3.6, My google search has dissapeared from the small search bar in upper right corner. It is replaced with Bing

That's the Google Toolbar that doesn't work with Firefox 5. Yes it is not Compatible since Google decided not to support Firefox in order to LURE the users to use Google Chrome instead of Mozilla Firefox.

-> click the Favicon on SearchBar -> click Manage Search Engines -> select Google and Move it Up to Top -> click OK
Check and tell if its working.

No dice. Google doesn't show up under manage search engines. I can't find it in add ons either (other than a billion other versions made by users)

Nope. When I'm on this website it does pop up with a " add firefox help". But when I'm on Google.com there is no option for me to add it...

Well, I searched and found that google search bar does not work with version 5. I did add google EN which seems to be working. Thanks for your effort anyway.
WOW !! Seems like you were mistakenly thinking that we were asking you to Install Google Toolbar !!

Anyway it appears like your problem is resolved.
Um actually I think you misunderstood what I needed. I still dont have the original google search bar which is what I really wanted. I just settled for this knock off since the real google search bar doesn't work with version 5.

Yep. Oh well. The Google "EN" works the same as the original from what I can tell. I would suggest any others with this question to use it instead. Of course they can always go to google.com I guess. Have a good one!!
