on an azerty asus transformer (Belgian model), the physical keyboard behaves in firefox as a qwerty keyboard regardless of the locale.

This only happens on firefox, and the virtual keyboard behaves normally.

Is there something that I should configure ?

Thanks, -- Rémi

Hey Rémi

Thanks for reporting this. There is currently an open bug investigating this issue. I'm not sure if there's a workaround at the moment. It would be best to follow activity in the bug report if one is posted.

Thanks, Aaron

Just one more detail. Like the person in the Korean keyboard bug report said, the on-screen Android keyboard is language-specific. Also:

When the physical keyboard is connected and we open a field for editing, we get a small icon on the status bar with an on/off toggle for the asus keyboard, to allow one to use the android one without disconnecting the former. And when I do that, I do get the android keyboard on the screen, it is AZERTY, but the Asus physical keyboard is still active and IS working as AZERTY this time.

This could be considered as a workaround, were it not for the android keyboard eating up about half of the screen.
