When I go to remove a bookmark - I click the drop menu and the page I just removed is still there. What am I doing wrong.

I click on the drop menu and highlight and open web page then I click on the yellow star and choose the remove tab. Press done and when I close everything out and click on the drop menu again my web page is still there the one I wanted to remove.

Is the star still yellow if that happens?

Are you also showing the History in that drop down list?

Tools > Options > Privacy > Location Bar: When using the location bar, suggest: 

If that is the case then you need to to remove that site from the history as well.
