I have one PC where the "folder view" is working as it should when browsing an ftp site / contents. Where you can click the last modified heading to re-arrange the list. This is really great. But on the other PCs (over 30) I get a standard list. if you look at the following article and check the screen shots you will see what I mean by "folder view". How do I get this to work on all our PCs? https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Accessing+FTP+servers?s=ftp&as=s

I have now discovered what the issue was. We are using an Astaro Security Gateway as a web proxy. Without the proxy the folder view works. Behind the proxy, the firewall gives a basic list. I have put an exception into Firefox not use a proxy for the ftp site in question. I will now have to distribute this to all the client PCs ... Joy!
