I'm on the latest version of Firefox, 106.1, and I'm missing the Firefox View button on my MacBook Pro 13". It is showing on my Mac Mini M1, and both are logged in and syncing properly using my Firefox account.

When I type in about:firefoxview on my MacBook Pro in the URL bar, I see the page but noticed it says "New colorways are on the way" on the right. On my Mac Mini, I see the "Independent Voices" text and an option to "Try colorways".

Bug? Some weird setting on my MacBook? Both are running macOS Monterey, 12.6.

Update - I did not delete the Firefox folder under ~/Library/Application Support as stated above. I just deleted the Mozilla folder. I quit Firefox, deleted the Firefox folder inside Application Support and relaunched. I now have a Firefox View button. Crisis averted. ;)

I appreciate all the quick replies!

Firefox View works like a toolbar button, so it could be mixed in with the other available buttons on the Customize screen. This article will get you in there -- can you find it and drag it where you want it?

Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars

If necessary, you also could try the "Restore defaults" button at the bottom of that screen to reset your toolbar layout to the original "factory" specification.

I did try the "Restore defaults" button, but it just removed my (2) addon icons on the top right. I don't see a "Firefox View button" to drag/drop to the top left where the Firefox View icon is on my other computer. Attached is a screenshot of my drag-able options. I could just be missing it.

The Firefox View button is by default positioned on the Tab bar. Does it make a difference if you enable the Title Bar via the checkbox at the bottom of the customize page ?

It does not make a difference if I show the title bar (first pic attached). I've also attached about:firefoxview (tabs and recently closed collapsed) showing the "colorways coming soon". It's almost like my version it's quite updated all the way. I did delete the app and the Mozilla and Firefox folders under ~/Library/Application Support and reinstalled. Still the same issue.

For anyone else encountering the same issue and want to keep their existing tabs/settings, go to about:studies and remove "106 Major Release Firefox Existing User Experience".
